What artistic skill level is this program for?
This course is not only for artists but also ANY woman who believes that her creative force or artistic outlet can be a way to connect to her inner experience. All artistic mediums/approaches are welcome and applicable within this course. It's not highly technical, but focuses on how our creative process can bridge our inner and outer worlds for healing and growth. I want to help you focus on the creative process rather than the outcome – to put stock in your intentions rather than expectations.
Does this course offer medical insight?
this is not a course with medical insight. Although I share some of my own prenatal regimen/experience, it is not to offer any medical advice. This course is for showing how to allow creativity to be a guiding magical force throughout the journey of pregnancy. all things that come to be, start in the mind (or the womb) – this course helps bring your mind and womb in alignment to concentrate on what you want in life and birth, then create from that space, the only expectation being that you can and will give birth -- no matter how it unfolds.
What do I need to have before starting?
If you are pregnant and interested to participate - that is all you need.
If you have a current artistic medium/practice that you are called to work with, you may want to have some of those supplies on hand. Or you can just begin with pen/pencil and paper. There is an optional book binding bonus in the first module where you'll have the opportunity to make a personal sketchbook/journal (or purchase one if you prefer) -- for that you'll want to have some paper that you enjoy, a sewing needle and some dental floss. Otherwise repurposed/recycled materials are always welcome. Literally anything can be used for Art.
Just having your body and voice to sing and dance are plenty of materials to start working with!
